I am creating a project in PAL and then recapping it to NTSC, however the audio is a 5.1 mix taken from the PAL version. Does anyone know if i can just use the same audio for both or will it be out of sync
thanks for any help,
am using scenarist 2.6
and Sonic SD-500 encoder

Hi,
Technically you should be fine using the original audio, since there is no difference in audio streams for PAL/NTSC. The bitrates for PAL and NTSC are the same, it's just that PAL uses a higher resolution with a low fps than NTSC does.
hope this helps.
