This is really weird.. My first 8 or so captures and converts went off without a hitch. captured at 720x480 and converted to SVCD looked great and it was in sync.
Now, for some reason there is about a 1 second gap between the video and the audio.. Doesn't matter if I use CCE or TMPG.
Already checked the source video for bad frames, tried using the direct capture, the edited AVI with the Wav saved out, and a frameserved one. same exact results. Haven't burned to CD yet for testing, but if it's screwed up on my PC then it'll be screwed up on the CD (I think).
Do I just need to reformat and hope for the best? (not that big of a deal). Or does anybody have any good ideas?
BTW: I get about 1 dropped frame every 3 or 4 minutes, so I doubt that's it.. and it's not a gradual loss of sync, it's right at the beginning, it's like the video gets delayed in starting for about a second.

I don't know why it does that, but you can use VirtualDub (Audio > Interleaving > delay audio by 1000 ms (1 second)).
