Recetnly I tried using DVD-Decrypt to do a one to one copy of a DVD5 disk (my DVDX Copy is not working - thats another story).
I noticed that there is a drop in sound volume (I am simply ripping an ISO image & then using DVD Decrypt to write the ISO image). I am just imagining this or is it a real issue.
I am also using IC 7 without any complaints.
Thanks
Cumar

Don't see how it would even be possible since you are not messing with any video/audio files. You're just copying the discs files from disc A to disc B. Bad burn maybe? You HD too fragmented? Maybe it corrupted the files on your HD.

Thanks for the quick reply.
But, I do not think HDD is an issue as there is no drop is audio quality just the volume - if I crank up the volume dial everything seems OK.
I tried backing up the same DVD using DVDDecrypt/IC7 and the audio quality was spot on.
My question is, is there any known issues with DVD-Decrypter when it comes to writing ISO image?
Thank you kindly.

I've heard of ISO images going bad when burned, not sure about the decoding to ISO. I just use file mode, and then reburn with Nero 5.5.9.0
