Anyone able to burned Ritek G03 at 2x on a Pioneer DVR-105?

I have updated my firmware, each time hoping that this would be the one that did it. Still my Pioneers [DVR-105//Firmware v1.30] will only burn Ritek G03 2x media @1x, no matter what I do? If not, can you recommend a media that will or better yet verify a 4x media to try with the Pioneer 105 you have had success with. My HPs+Rs @2.5x are still looking good for speed. What to hell good is a 4x burner that will only burn @1x on 2x media anyway.

I've been able to burn successfully on 4x Ritek (04) with the 1.30 update. Also Taiyo Yuden 2x media I picked up as part of a demo-pack burnt successfully at 2x. I can also report that 2x Princo burnt a 2x as well....

There is a demopack available at www.blank-cd-cdr.com which is the first media purchase I made just to see what I could burn on and what I couldn't. Out of that I haven't found anything that the Pioneer fails on (I've been through at least 1 of each of the media with successful burns on each).

I have those princo(true 2X) disc's they do burn at 2X but Princo's are known to degrade after time, So far i havent had any but you never know in a few months, so I dont think I would use those anymore until Im postive they'll be ok. Im use Ritek at 1X now.
