    latest dvd2one software when trying to copy full dvd to dvd it states
    please copy all files in file mode what does this mean?

    You need to "Rip" the original DVD to a "VIDEO_TS" folder (just create the folder on your drive), then use DVD2one. I use SmartRipper to do the ripping and you may get it free here.
