Right, here we go...... Complete Newbie so bear with me.
I have read the FAQ's etc, and How to's but couldn't see anything I haven't tried.
Have encoded my first few SVCD's but can't get them to play properly. The Video and sound are great for a short while, but it seems when a loud sound occurs, or fast movement, the Audio goes really choppy, and video jumps too. This means the film is unwatchable.
I have tried switching the Audio between 48 and 44.1 khz, but no luck. I have tried burning at the slowest rate (12x) I can, but nada. I have also tried encoding at lower quality but this doesn't help either.
Is it possible my standalone DVD player cannot handle the framerate or something? I have a Panasonic SA-HT 70.
I have the DVD2SVCD (with most of the settings on default) bundle, using TMGPEnc, and burn with Alcohol 120%
Any ideas would be great. Cheers
