For the most part, their covers look like crap. I use www.dvdcoverart.com. They have really high quality scans of originals and some really good custom artwork submitted by users.

dvd cover art isn't free. They are charging you to download dvd covers.
cdcovers is free. -
If you upload covers to dvdcoverart you get credit, more if you fill a request with an upload.
It is only pay if you want it to be -
I see, it's more of a trade. I'll have to check it out again.
Although I performed 12 searches, and it only came up with 3 covers. CDCovers has all 12.
Maybe worth it if they are higher quality. I've seen many crappy covers from CDCovers. -
I use the old google.com
cdcovers doesnt have much for dvd's
dvdcoverart is good but dont like the credit thing
if you just search what you are looking for on google.com you will find plenty as many people steal from dvdcoverart or post their own on their personal website and dvdcoverart -
yeah dvdcoverart really doesn't have much of a selection, but what they do have is very good quality. They also prefer high quality scans of covers and they even reject them if not good enough. Need some Photo or Paintshop experience to edit them if sending them in.
Never even thought about google and that is my main search engine i use -

Personally for commercial covers I use DVDcoverart.com and open and print from Photoshop 7. For covers I have to create myself for customer projects I use either Photoshop or Illustrator 10 or a combination of both. If you don't have the "money" to buy the Adobe products you could get the Ulead versions which aren't too bad. I loath inkjets though. There are very few inkjets out there that make a quality print. If you're in the market and don't wanna spend the cash on a laser printer then at least get a 6 color inkjet (CMYK plus light cyan and light magenta). I've got a Tektronix Phaser 780 Plus color laser printer and the only problem I have with it is it really lays the toner on heavy; good for covers as they're behind plastic but bad for inserts because they tend to curl. Glossy paper is bollocks in laser printers. Use 28lb laser white instead (96 brightness?). The covers I print with the above combination are really quite beautiful.
And if you can't afford the color laser printer yet still want nice prints take 'em to your nearest Kinko's or other copy center that has rental computers with color laser printers attached. Or you can get a Tek 780 like mine for not too much on eBay.
