  1. hi i have this small avi clip on my comp, its in german but my friend gave me the subtitles

    the prob is that the subtitles is in .srt format... does anyone know how i can somehow integrate the subtitles into the movie? that'd be great, thx

    Have you tried the TextSub filter in Virtual Dub. It handles .srt subtitles.

    in Vdub after add the textsub filter and chosing the sub file
    you have the settings button in the right (below)
    choose FONT and adjust as you like

    If you use SubStation Alpha-subs (.ssa) the type face and size is specified in the ssa file. Just edit with Notepad or eq. There are many subtitle format conversion apps out there, if you happen to have a sub in another format.

  8. must install VobSub in section Tools on the left painel
    make sure to install plugins to Vdub
    then open vdub and the filters will be there
    and you can alter the font settings
