Overall goal for moment...Capture analog, encode to mpeg2, burn svcd or dvd:
Capturing as mpeg, picture playback fantastic at 640x480 no dropped frames or audio synch problems (by the way I am using ASUS A7N8X onboard sound without any problems so far). Encode to mpeg2 and burn to svcd. Now picture is jumpy as all get out playing back on dvd player. Have made slideshow svcds with other software that play just fine. Also tried encoding mpeg2 and writing to a dvd-r format then burned to a cd. That produces no stop at menu, terrible image and no audio. Anyone else had and fixed this problem?
thanks if so.

i have had the same problem, using DVD2svcd with movie titles it works fine, never a problem, but with MANGA/Anime its as jumpy as hell, but plays fine on the PC via powerDVD.
strange thing is my dvd player plays everything and even manga stuff i have done before plays fine, must be a bitrate problem or somthing?
im going nuts making 3 copies of the same title all jumpy--=(rFx)=--
