    hey guy I trying to convert one of my avi files to mpeg by using TMPGenc but I keep getting and error message (can not open or unsupported) it worker great befor but now it showing the error message on all my avi's . Can someone plz help me out?

    try this:

    -click 'OPTIONS' on the top
    -choose 'ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS'
    -choose the'VFAPI PLUG-INS' top tab
    -right click the 'DIRECTSHOW MULTIMEDIA FILE READER' and then higher the priority to 1 or 2
