I have ripped a dvd-9 to my harddrive that has both widescreen and standard versions in a menu.
I would like to cut out the standard version all together and just keep the widescreen version.
In the menu on the dvd, it has two pictures to choose from, standard and widescreen.
How do I point both the standard selection to link directly to the widescreen. I want to do this so that if someone other than myself chooses the standard link, the dvd will not error or reset since that points to data that has been omitted.
dvd's nowdays are coming out with both versions on one dvd-9 and not dual side like dvd-10.
Thanks

If you're not interested in keeping the extras, then I'd not use the menu and go right to the movie using IfoEdit. I generally just download the movie I want with it's ifo file, and then use IfoEdit 091 to make all my VIDEO_TS files. That way you don't have to deal with selecting anything on the menu. If you're determined to keep the menu, I imagine editing one of the ifo files would solve your problem, but seeing as how I have never done it, I couldn't tell you how. Sorry I couldn't help more.
