I just converted IMAX.The.Greatest.Places.(1999).DVDRip.DivX-QiX.ShareReactor.avi to mpeg using tmpgenc plus. When I play the mpeg file theres no sound. I first tried using virtual dub to make a wave file but the program wouldn't work. I then used avi2 to extract a wave file from the movie succusfully. Then I went back the tompenc and loaded the movie (avi file). I tried loading the wave file with it but it didn't let me. It said that it wasn't supported. Do you know what the problem is? Thanks

The video may have an ac3 audio track. Download gspot from the tools section on the left. Load your avi file into it, and it will analyze your movie and tell you what type of files both video and audio are in it. If it is an ac3 file there are instructions on this site on how to handle them amd how to convert them to viable wav files tmpg will recognize. I'm not sure if avi2 will do the trick.
