  1. bought a pioneer rebadge dvd recorder a105 and installed it. for some reason when i boot up now zonealarm (zapro.exe) ask that there is no disc in e: and to put one in. I can just cancel it about 5 times and it will quit doing it.

Then i replaced drive with Sony DRU-500AX (for other reasons, including +rw support). Still same thing is hapening.

Honestly, i am not even sure if the recorders have anything to do with it but just asking if anybody had similar experience.

  3. I use Zone Alarm and have never seen that message. The only thing I can think of, is did you install Zone Alarm from the E: drive? If so, maybe it didn't finish it's installation and it's looking for the source files? That's just a wild guess...

I agree with BowlPacker about completing the install of Zone Alarm (ZA). I have seen this message after installing ZA and it does go away after completing the load. Most of the times I've seen it is after an upgrade of ZA.
Reformating and reloading is a little extreme in this case.

  5. I have the exact issue with Zone Alarm Standard. Also, I actually did reformat the drive and re-install windows, etc. (not because of this, but for other issues).

After I re-installed Zone Alarm, I have the same issue again after a few days.
