  1. I been getting DVD-R's from PC Club and recently I cant write to the disc using RecordNow Max. I burned 6 DVD's and now all the blanks I have out a 50pk spindle dont burn. I look at them and they seem to have a 1k "Track01.cda" written to them all.

Is this normal? and if so why cant I burn to them?

  2. This is what I found out.

the "Track01.cda" 1k file is the leadin track telling the discs info.

    1. Yes it is normal.

    2. The DVD-Rs I had were generic Ritek 03, piss shot condition (mixed batch?) the dye consitsanty must of been bad cause my Pioneer a05 only was able to write to 6 of them. All the rest showed error when checking media and trying to write to them.

I exchanged them at PC Club, I got generic LeadData 1x speed according to ADVDinfo. So far after 10 of the new discs they are writing fine.

    It was my wrotten luck
