I have tried to make a back up of a movie and when i resize all the extras and the main movie the slider at the bottom is 4.31gb i then hit start and som hours later end up with a 5.06gb movie how is this possible?? And is there anyway to remove certain titles from the movie and the extras if so how? Cause my selection shows that u can't uncheck the titles. Please help if anyone knows.

  3. I have done about 20 movies with Instant DVD 7.0 and didnt got that problem.

But, just has a warning, you better off not touching anything or your you may have playback problems.

I rip to HD in ISO mode, mount the image then start InstantDVD and I output straight to a DVD. i choose custom resize so I can unselect computer extras on the DVD. I do not change anything in the movie section.

They have changed the "how to's" so you can eliminate a step. Rip to file instead of ISO, then you don't need to mount the image.

  5. if your getting "oversizing' you need to get version 7.0.0.91. Can't help you but just tell you to wait. Most people got that version but some are using crappy warez versions which are 7.0.0.80 and they get what they deserve. If you bought it then try taking it back to the store.

No. I have version 7.0.0.91 and I'm getting the same problem.
I'm trying to do "The Ring". Twice it's come out to 4.68Gigs.

I've kept everything except the French sound track, which happens to be about the same size as the overage (300megs). I wonder if that has something to do with it.

I also copied the original with Smartripper in file mode.

I've just deleted everything and then used DVDDecryptor, just to see if it makes any difference.

If not I will try the update that was released today.

Unbelievable as it sounds, the DVD Decrypted rip was processed by IC just fine.

Don't know why that is, but I'll be sure to use it instead of Smartripper from now on.
