I've had a few successes getting vcd on to dvd-r, but a lot of the dat files when I try to put them onto my hard drive come up with a MS Dos error or a circular (something error) when I am moving them across. I've tried converting them to DVD-r straight from the disc with Temp Enc, but it either tells me it is not supported or the converted file stops half way through (probably at the point where I get the transfer error when trying to put it to my harddrive). I've also tried putting it to my harddrive using VCD Gear, but it doesn't copy all the film across again. Have also tried de multiplexing using Tmp Enc, Mpeg tools, but when it gets to the bad area on the disc, it skips to the end and half the film is missing. This is happening with a good few of my VCD's (they are not scratched !)
Any ideas.
Please !!!!!!!

Some suggestions.
When using VCDGEAR did you tick the 'Fix MPEG Errors' option when extracting the file.
Also give ISOBUSTER a try, to extract the DAT file.
