    i just got the japanese version so i haven't seen it yet. you also got to take into account that the american version also includes things from the sequel, so the japanese version is a bit more mysterious.

    ok here goes... Ringu beats the hell out off that crappy american version (just my opinion) the japanese version is much more scary and mysterious. also the amarican movie leaves a couple of important things out. the ring isn't a bad movie 4 the ones who didn't see the original version though i think. u guys allready seen ringu 2? it's as great as part one...

    The Ring was a funny movie... It wasnt scary at all...

    the scene where the horse trips and drowns was funny also...

    But those movies suck also

  5. i haven't been able to get a hold of ringu, but for only seeing the american version of the file, i have to say it was much like the sixth sense was when i first saw it. i will probably be picking this movie up when it comes out (tomorrow i think). i give it a B+.
