    if you are ready to buy a spindle, most people will tell you that Ritek is the brand of choice for the money, I can tell you I have burned over 350 Ritek discs and no errors.

    defense has had great success with white-topped ACCUs, but make sure you get the ones manufactured by Sony, there are others which I can say suck, the first spindle I ever bought was a 25 pack of Meritline ACCU discs and they are no good for video, only data.

    everybody gets different results. I recently ventured into this field. I bought a pack of memorex. All three were bad on everything. Bought Imation all five would play on my dvd rom but would skip bad about 2/3 through the film. They would work on my friend dvd drive. My friend bought same 3 pack of memorex that i did and all of his are perfec. just depends i guess kind of random.
