  1. I rencoded a movie (darkness falls) to ntsc dvd format the total file is 2.5 gig. I used IFOEDIT to author it and burned to dvd using nero udf 1.02 all my settings were according to the guide for nero. I burned it twice once with a AUDIO_TS folder after the VIDEO_TS folder and once without both discs play on my apex ad 5131 . but it wont play on the apex 10101w
    please help .
this was supposed to be the most compatible way to burn a dvd

The error I get is that in the upper right hand side of the screen a circle appears with a square in it . it appears to see the the disc it just wont play it

I had the same problem, there is info in the "Author" section on the left hand side.

Basically, if you burn the disc as a dvd-video, it fails. If you create an empty AUDIO_TS folder and a VIDEO_TS folder, and put all your .vob, .ifo etc. files in the VIDEO_TS folder, then burn those two folders to disc as a UDF 1.02 disc, it should fix the problem.

At least it did with my 1010w and Nero 5.5.10.0

good luck. As I said, check the "Author" section for more about burning with Nero.
