  1. THE SOLUTION I FOUND WAS TO DOWNLOAD THE BETA (UNSUPPORTED)DRIVER FROM THE ATI WEBSITE - SO FAR IT WORKS A TREAT AIW rage 128 pro, AMD1.2Ghz, 320mb Ram, MS6330lite m/board
latest 4in1 driver. I can capture video but when I play it back the picture freezes after 30 seconds and then starts to loop the last 0.5 sec of display. However the sound continues to play and sometimes can see the sync. video playing behind the frozen picture just at te top of the screen. Its driving me mad!!!!!! Has anyone experienced this before, if so please share the secret. If not has anyone got any suggestions apart from the usual bitter comments about scrapping the card. This was a gift for my son and I certainly can't afford to throw it away.
Anyone out there with the answer?

    Cheers

  2. That is the built in macrovision in the AIW card. You be recording a copyprotected source? DVD? I have not found a way to remove it from the AIW card so you need to buy a unscrambler box or a dvd player that can eliminate the macrovision.
