ive just managed to salvage a capture card from an old computer, i have no idea what make or model it is, all i know is that the chipset is bt 848, there was some small writing on it saying "inter vision"? the problem is, what drivers can i get from this card as i dont know tha manufacturer? and what freeware can i use a televiewer??
Thanks all,

I think the card is a Avec PV-8100 but not sure. Anyway try looking for drivers at the links. -
Got it, the card is an AverMedia and the drivers are here

There are several cards listed on that site with the same chip number so you may have to try them all to get the card to run.
BTW AverMedia cards are pretty good. I have a basic capture card from them and it has never lost a single frame.
