  1. I usually don't use smartripper or DVD Decryptor for stream processing, but I am not because I have to correct a lot of movies where I need to reauthor. Anyway, up until the 4th or 5th movie I ripped, everything looked good EXCEPT all of them are 16:9 films, and SmartRipper keeps reporting them as 4:3. That isn't a big deal I guess, I was just wondering if it is a known bug that Smartripper will incorrectly report the wrong aspect ratios of movies?

Also, and much more importantly, is there a known bug which causes smartripper to NOT rip the entire Video stream properly? I was just redoing Scent of a Woman which the movie itself is about 2:34:00, and for some reason, when it rips the .M2V file, it seems to ONLY rip 2:31:32 of it, causing me to lose about 3 minutes of the ending movie itself, AS WELL as all of the credits. The only thing I can think is that Maestro is making a mistake importing the entire .M2V file, but I really doubt that since I have not had this problem before. Can anyone tell me if these are known bugs in smartripper? Thanks in advance

  2. Update: Well it's definitely a bug in SmartRipper, not Maestro, as I figured. I just re-ripped Scent of a Woman with DVD2DVDR and the .M2V file was 4.02 GB's, NOT 3.90 GB's, as Smartripper gave. Then I did U571 in SmartRipper AND DVD2DVDR and got the same exact file size for the .M2V, 3.87 GB's. It seems like SmartRipper rips correctly in stream processing MOST of the time, but in certain instances, such as with Scent of a Woman, it has problem.

    Anyone else experience this problem?
