  1. I put a DVD in and used fortytwo to move the data in VCD format to my hard drive. When it was done, the only results are two files and one folder:

    biles.mp2
    biles.mpv
    MYDVD-BurnWhatsInHere (folder)

the MYDVD-BurnWhatsInHere (folder) is empty. Any idea about where the files I'm supposed to burn into the VCE are? If it makes a difference, I chose the same folder for the temp folder and the destination folder.

    Thanks,

  2. Same result here....

With 1.5 the following files were created:
    a) 1 big mpg file
    b) bfiles
    c) BURN... folder with vcd images

    with 1.5.1 ....
    a) 1 big mpg file
    b) bfiles
    c) BURN... empty

    with 1.5.2
    a) big mpg isn't there anymore
    b) bfiles
    c) BURN... empty

Same result here as well. I've attempted to get a burnable image on THE_TUXEDO, SWEET_HOME_ALABAMA, and XXX in both SVCD and DVD mode. The program (42) reports no errors and reports nothing in the console that I can see. Yet, I am left with a blank burnwhatsinhere folder. I've used seperate temp and output folders as well as the same folder. I wish someone knew why it is not creating the .bin/.cue images.

  4. It would be great if 42 outputed a log file of exactly the commands it performs.

I hear ya, or even a "run in terminal" mode. But I think that goes away from the concept of 42; that being to be a all-in-one my mom can use it video solution. I understand terminal commands and output but not everyone does.

  6. Or just ask the developers, as they probably know what is going on or where to look.

The reason this is happening is because there is a new bug in the split code; it is doing the opposite...

ie, if the file needs to be split for disks, it thinks that it does not.

This has already been fixed, is being re-tested and will be made available asap.
