  1. Hi,

I loaded my AC3 in Meastro and it was slightly longer than the video (don't know why) I got DVD Maestro to synce the audio and video and it produced a AIFF file that is 4 times larger than the orignal AC£ and will not all fit onto one DVD now.

How can i convert the uncompressed AIFF file to a AC3 OR Is it possible to use another audio package to alter the orignal AC3s length to match the video.

    Thanks
    Dob

how did you use maestro to sync the ac3 and video stream and end up w/ a aiff file ?

to sync the ac3 stream - all you have to do is slide it along on the audio time line ..
if you create a sync audio track - the resultant new file will still be ac3 unless you checked off make something else ..

How do i do this - i have tried a few times and it will not let me change it at all. A small gray box says PCM but it will not let me change it.

    Any Ideas?

    Cheers

I have just managed to do it i had to re-assign the audio with the orignal AC3 file. And it is has created a AC3 file which is the same length - lets just hope this will solve my jerky video problems.

    Cheers
