    When i open the file with tmpge i use the project wizard and part 3/5 i click on source range and then it gives me an error msg of tmpgenc.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I have never experienced this problem before can anybody tell me why this error comes up? THX

    I don't think TMPG can read ASF files. You have to work around it with VirtualDub. The problem is there is only one version of VirtualDub can deal with ASF file. I forgot which version it was. It is hard to find.

    I got virtualdub 1.3 and it did the audio but the tmpge is still not encoding the asf file.

    I used ASFtools 3.1 and converted it to an AVI file. I then used Nero to convert the file and made it into a VCD but now no volume. How do i correct this? THX
