I have a Digital Video Camcorder. I have been reading about the possiblity of using it as a analog conection to go into the pc through firewire. In other words hook the vcr into the camcorder.. then to the computer.
I have searched the site for this dv701, but couldnt find anything. My question is: Do I have to record the analog input onto the DV tape in the camcorder and then play it to the computer.. or will the analog be able to run through the camcorder to the computer for capture at the same time?
I have look in the manual and on the panasonic site, I have also emailed them. but nothing.
I hope this is clear.
Thank you.
