    1. make the image to your hdd instead of burning out right away

    2. use the pdi2iso prog and make it an iso file

    3. use the isobuster prog and extract the ts folder from the iso file

    4. make a dummy audio ts folder yourself and drop it into prassi and burn

thats all there is to it hopefully this solves some probs :P

  2. Actually, there's a program around called pdixtract that will directly extract the PDI to the separate files (search the forum - it's around here somewhere) - just create a folder called VIDEO_TS and then do

    pdixtract -d VIDEO_TS filename.pdi

  3. Am I missing something here. What I do is make an ISO image of my DVD with DVDDEcrypter. Mount the image on Daemon tools...use this as input into InstantCopy and let it rip. If there is an Audio_ts folder in the original DVD then InstantCopy will create one.

  4. Hmmmmm.... the version of InstantCopy Ihave (7.0.0.91) has never shown me an AUDIO_TS folder, and I'm pretty sure it's usually there on real DVDs....... I'll have to go double-check one of the ones I've copied....

  5. Vidguy,

With InstantCopy what you see is what you get. If you rip a movie using file mode then you won't get an Audio_Ts folder...simply because you are not feeding instantcopy the complete DVD structure.

On the other hand if you create an ISO image using DVDDecrypter and mount this in Daemon tools then use the generic drive as input. You will be feeding Instantcopy the complete DVD structure so if there is an Audio_ts folder...instantcopy will create one.

Also another thing that will prevent you from creating an Audio_ts folder even if the original DVD has one.... is If you check "Remove DVD-Rom Content" in the advanced tab.

  6. That's probably why then - I always use file mode rather than ISO mode so that I can ifoedit the DVD before I give it to InstantCopy - that way the VTS I remove are gone properly.....
