Hi everyone...
I have a problem...I have a an AVI format movie, converted into Divx codec. When I open the file in the windows media player, it succeeds to download the video codec and shows the video. But for some reason there is no sound. I tried to open the file in VirtualDub and convert the audio stream to a simple WAV file. But the VirtualDub disagreed to do so.
I change the option to full processing mode, because I do want to change the audio to WAV. And when I do so it, this pops up:
"The Requeted audio compression is not compatible with the input format. Check that the sampling rate and channal count of the input match those of the requested format."
And so i did. I changed the sampling rate and channal count the the same values as the original video is. But it keeps showing me the annoying error.![]()
Glad if someone will help!!!!![]()

You may not have the required codec. Check the file using Gspot , it's in the Tools section.
