    Is there a way to create a backup for ps2 games that will play same as normal in the ps2 machine?

    yup.....

    first ....you need to install or have installed a "mod-chip" in your ps2...this will allow the backups to play without incident

    you can get different chip out there or install a new case around ur ps2 to allow the "swap " method

    look into both and YOU have to decide whats best for YOU

    after that its easy

    i use NERO to burn and i just do i disc to disc copy (dvd or cd depending on game, MOST are dvd-5 but i heard they are coming out with dvd-9 soon that could be a prob)....but thats it...

    my backups play PERFECTLY with a v7 ps2 and magic2 modchip
