  1. i just got my cd player, downloaded some dvd rips and just realized i dont know how to play them. What do i need to burn them withh etc? They are .avi now and i have a APEX dvd player. Is there a tutorial or can anyone tell me what to do? Any help is appreciated.

  2. When u download .avi's u will need an encoder, I suggest TMPG. U can download it in the tools section (its free). Encoding the avi clip will change the format to MPEG (Motion PIctures Expert Group) this is the format that a DVD player can read. And just a reminder, encoding should take from 3-8 or 9 hours depending on your system. And depending on the file size u might need a cliper (a clipper cuts the video in 2, 3, or 4 parts). Now download NERO ( http://www.download.com ), install NERO and "CREATE VCD". I suggest u burn at 2x or 4x, higher burning can cause problems. And u should be watching your movie on your brand new dvd player

  5. whats the biggest it can be without need a clipper? Man this is gonna take forever on my comp lol i got a 1 ghz weith like 394 mb ram how long sould it take any idea?
