Hi
Iam having a alot of probs with adding subs to a mpeg file.
but i have one question, I used this guide http://www.how-to-convert.com/ask_us/a7042003.htm to make switchable subs on a mpeg/2 svcd file. but later on i found out that my dvd player doesnt support that. so now iam about to convert my file to mpeg 1/ vcd and then use the guide above to make subs. and because its mpeg1/vcd iam thinking that they are not going to be switchables, they will be permanant.
plze help

You can't have svcd subs on mpeg1, VCD. Then you must make permanent subs and it requires that you reencode the video.
