DRU500AX will not burn K Hypermedia

I just bought my second DVD burner the Sont DRU500AX I took out the Pioneer AO4 and instal the DRU500AX. The DRu500AX will not burn K Hypermedia always crash's. I never had a problem burning K Hypermedia on the AO4. Also the blank DVD+RW that came with the DVD some time's burn's some time's not. I called sony and they said they will not help me since I'm using nero and not there software. Also I'm using NERO 5.5.10.7

I just got a DRU-500AX and have successfully burned data and DVD backups on K-Hypermedia discs.

(In fact, I was expecting them *not* to work, since I got them for $1 each at MicroCenter.... but I was pleasantly surprised).

my system specs - Asus A7V mobo / 256Mb Ram / DRU-500AX as master on secondary IDE chain / Windows ME o.s.

you might want to check your system, or try again with some fresh discs.

I was speaking for my self. was I talking about your DVD burner my K Hypermedia also came from MicroCenter just bought them three day's ago

"DRU500AX will not burn K Hypermedia" is not the same statement as "MY DRU500AX will not burn K Hypermedia". The first statement is a blanket statement covering *all* 500AX's and *all* K Hypermedia, not just *your* equipment.

Maybe I should have put a smiley on my previous posts' first line to indicate that I was being flip, not trying to cut you down. Sorry if that didn't come through.

And I forgot in my original post, I've burned all using Nero 5.5.10.0.
