Is ANY other company actually making these -RW? The price of these 2x discs is ridiculous ($5 to $11 depending on where you look), but if only Pioneer is the ONLY company making them, then they've got us! Why don't I see any other makers?

2X DVD-RW is still pretty new, so it might be a while yet before the other manufacturers incorporate it into their product lines. Don't forget, Pioneer has a vested interest in selling the 2X media because they also sell the drives to use it with, so they'd naturally be the first ones out the door with the new discs.

Spiderman2k1, I agree I use DVD-RW to test also...but I don't like waiting 1 hour to burn when I can burn in 30 minutes...especially if I'm iterating a test, which might require several burns to get right.
