I have suddenly developed a problem when playing back my VCDS. I can play them back in WinDVD and they will have a different running time than when they are played back in Windows Media Player. The difference can be as much as 15 minutes.

Problem is i use either of these programs to check my burnt VCDs for glitches etc and when I am at the end of the film sometimes it reaches the end of the bar and you cant slide it along any further but it will carry on playing for anything up to 10 minutes from the end of the slider.

As I obviously want to check the end of the film this is causing me problems. i have downloaded a few different VCD players and they all have the same problem. They will carry on playing after the slider is at the end. It is making it very difficult to check the last few minutes of the film

Anyone have any ideas please as to what could be causing this as it has only started happening over the last week.
