    I have been reading the forums for a while now but I have not found a definitive answer on this yet.

    Is there any advantage to using VBR, 2 pass VBR, or CQ VBR as opposed to using a high bit rate CBR other than saved disk space? I guess I'm just wondering if there is any image quality advantages?

    If space is of no concern, use CBR at max bitrate for your viewing device.
