    ive tried searching the site for this but i get lots of diffirent results.
    im interested in knowing what is the best way to convert wmv to mpeg
    or is it even worth it.

    the best mpeg encoder i believe is tmpgenc at http://www.tmpgenc.net/
    you cant make the quality better if thats what you were asking about, but in order to make vcds, the files must be in mpeg format

    I beleave it's the same as converting AVI to MPEG. I did it a while back. I just can't remember. Been a long time. Your best way is getting Virtual dub.. Steal the sound out of it.. Then running TMG and adding video/sound and it should work. Read the How to's on AVI to MPEG. If I'm right WMV is the Same as converting AVI too Mpeg

    sorry guys i hope i didnt look rude for not replying i had to step away
    from the pc for a few days.ill give it a shot with tmpgenc i was under
    the impression that tmpgenc wouldnt convert wmv files.
