I think, nobody wrote one. How about you...?
I suggest to use the combo of VCDHELPguide and Shochan'sexplanation. -
I'd offer to write some of it myself - but I only use it for certain things (i.e. making XSVCD's of home movies in DV format). I like to think I've got that nailed - but I can't write about ripped DVD's or even files captured using analogue methods.
The other problem is that we don't know if at any moment the programme will be overtaken by something better! I'm hoping the new version 6.5 of MSP will have everthing I need... and I may stop using TMPGEnc.
If anyone's writing this thing - let me know and I'll contribute my XSVCD tips (including MVBR - rate setting by scene).
By the way - check out the TMPGEnc web site (www.tmpgenc.com) and go to the bulletin board. It's searchable.
