Kai, Bilestyle, Chris...
Could you provide guidelines as to how you'd like potential bugs or issues posted on this site? I apologize if this is already in the readme, but I'm at work and cannot get to it at the moment. My thought is that if you post some guidelines, then hopefully the troubles that users are having can be posted in such a way that the information is useful to you. Nothing's more frustrating than getting problem reports from frustrated users that don't contain enough information to be useful.
Also, do you plan on responding to problems that you verify are bugs? I know that you do this from time-to-time. My thought is that if you respond once you've verified something, this will cut down on repeat postings and frustration among users who are trying to find work-arounds themselves.
Here's a few examples of what I'm talking about:
- A few people have reported that no matter what VBR setting they choose in SVCD mode, the progress window always states VBR=3. Is this verified as a bug? If not, what kind of information can we provide to you to help?
- A few people seem to be having synch problems with 1.5 that they didn't have with earlier versions. Is this a verified issue? If not, I'm sure that the more detailed info we can give will be helpful. What do you need?
Thanks guys...
