  1. i used my firewire card to capture the video off a tape and it worked, it turned out to be like 12 gigs (58 min). I used tmpeg to encode it into mpeg-2 so the outcome was m2v and wav, i used ifoedit to multiplex it into a dvd thing or whatever, then i burned the VIDEO_TS folder (with files in it) to the dvd using Nero in DVD-UDF 1.02 mode.

I put it in my standalone (Philips DVD-711) and it goes to the stop screen but it says "DVD", then i put it in my computer and it plays but the video is playing twice as fast (maybe not exactly, but it's faster than real-time) and the audio is normal speed, FYI i have a DCR-TRV520 NTSC Camera and i used windows movie maker to capture it in DV-Mode (25 Mbps) and the media is an AOpen DVD+RW. What's my problem?

I did encode it with NTSC using TMPG. WHat do i do? It can't be my dvd player (although i need a new one if it won't play this shit)

  2. Ok, this time it tried capturing with dvio (type 1, will try type 2 tonight) and it captured but after all the encoding and burning and ifo stuff it is still like that, video 2x audio 1x. Does ANYONE know how to fix this? Or has ANYONE had the same problem before? If you don't know the answer, could you tell me how to capture/convert/burn step by step, because maybe i forgot to check a box or something. What program should i use to capture DV through firewire card?
