Yesterday I encoded a video, all the data was there, except the video would freeze about 3 seconds in and not continue. In bitrate viewer it was able to analyze the entire file, so the whole thing was encoded. Only the video freezes - the audio kept playing.
I took off the only new setting I had used since my previous encode which worked fine, and tried again. Same problem. Figured the source file might be screwed, even though it plays fine, so I tried it using another clip. Same freezing problem 3 seconds in.
Settings are what I always use. Can't understand whats causing this problem. Can anyone shed some light on what I should do about it?

Do you happen to have NIMO codec pack installed ? I've found it to cause
alot of trouble with MPG files, especialy the sort you are having now.Email me for faster replies!

Hope That Helps!!! -
I was in a hurry when I wrote my first post, so let me clarify a few things:
There are NO bad frames. I've encoded this same file several times (keep having to redo it because the bitrate goes too high and doesn't work properly on my DVD player) and its always played back fine. Its only since yesterday that I've been having the freeze problem. Again, no bad frames. This file has been encoded many times without such problems.
As for the Nimo pack, I do have it installed but its been on for ages and has never caused problems. And since I'm encoding the same file I've done before, I severely doubt it would be a file-type related issue.
I'll try reinstalling TMPGEnc and see what happens -
I Strongly advice against NIMO, i've seen alot of problems with it that were
solved as soon as it was removed, I recommand you to get these 3 codecs:
Kristal Studio Codec Pack v4.33
DivX v5.03 Video Bundle
XviD Video Codec
That will give you all the codecs you need and no compatibility problems.Email me for faster replies!
