I'm planning on adding a 2nd HD for video capture and underdstand NTFS is the way to go for such a drive. but my current drive is FAT32 IN Win2k. can I add an NTFS formatted drive w/out problems? thanks.

Yes, no problem with NTSF with FAT32. My OS is Windows 2000.
My computer's NTSF drive is 80 gig and FAT32 is 20 gig. A big NTFS is great for video capturing and storing of music files. No conflicts and everything normal. -
Absolutely, I have 2 FAT32 drives and 3 NTFS drives on my current system.

In fact, FAT32 and NTFS partitions can peacefully coexist on the same hard drive.
