video and mp3 on same disc

hi can anyone help

i was wondering if it is possible to make a disc that will play say a music video dowloaded off the net on a dvd player but also on the same disc put mp3 songs that will play on a normal cd player, i know how to do both of these things on their own, i just cant get my head round it, trying to work out if this can be done, or if there is a program that will do the task, if anyone can help i know you lot out there can as everytime before you have come up trumps!!

You can make a VCD or DVD with music and videos but you cannot author a mp3 disc that plays in an mp3 player & videos on a DVD player .

SOme rare players will play most any file dumped onto a disc burned in data mode but those players are rare - look at this list for possibilities:

i think you a right, i have tried everything i can think off, and wasted plenty of discs i the process, the only way i can think it would work was if there was some way of partioning a cdr, but that is not possible so i guess we will give up on this idea, thanks for the advice anyway...............pete
