HELP NEED A NEW PLAYER

Ok chaps, ive got an old scan 2000 that plays anything, but its come to the point where im thinking of buying a high end dvd player

My choices are pioneer 757ai or denon 2800mk2 anyone had any problems with these or reccomend what i should buy or not buy.
are there any pros n cons to the above thanks

I want to play all dvds dvdr svcds vcd etc

have you got a high end tv and surrond sound setup to go with your choices, if so either of those two would be fine, if not buying high end players you dont always get the best out of them so save some pennys buy a lower priced dvd player and get some quality speakers and a amp in my opinion.

Well at the mo i got a pioneer vsx 2011 amp with mission fs2 speakers in 7.1 setup, thought in a few months i hope to get some b&w speakers, as for TV ive got a 36inch ws progressive scan TV but will eventually go plasma or projector, AM i paying for the progressive scan option on these models of dvd player cos i dont think i,ll use that as of yet.

im just thinking if i should plump for a lower end model .
