I can assure you. The original picture wasn't doctored. There are many such examples in India where there are such amusing (Originally Posted by g_shocker182
) spelling mistakes.

I can think of hundreds of out door escalators. I am going to buy a digi camera in a couple of weeks. Will have to take some photos and give you the tour of some out door elevators in the UK.

How do they react with weather, like rain and snow?? I think the ONLY place I've seen escalators is in the mall.

I Swear that they exist. There are two at Victoria Circus in Southend-on-Sea (that will mean absolute shit to you).
However I will try and get photographic evidence.
I am going to look like a right twat taking photo's of escalators though. -
Oh, I have to doubt that they do exist if you say they do. I was just wondering if they run them during the rain and snow times, not how the gears and internal workings of them operate.

Can't remember, I grew up round that way and they seem normal to me. Just been asking people at work here if they have ever seen any and they are all thinking about it and most say no. I never thought that they were wierd.
As I say I will have to get my camera out. -

Usually they're covered but I've seen some in Las Vegas that weren't... -
