  1. I'm trying to multiplex some video, audio, and some subtitles that I made with the "OGTCreator" that comes with I-Author. When I tell it to start, it looks like it's working, and then gives me a warning box that says "OGT Channel 1, first time over"
I searched the forum for anything related to this, and the only suggestion I saw was to take out some of the subtitles. I only have 4 subtitles, so I can't really see how they are taking up too much room. I would certainly appreciate any help with this matter.

  2. By 4 Subtitles, I mean that I have four instances when words pop up... not 4 different tracks of subtitles (e.g. 4 different languages.)

  4. Well, I figured out the problem, and I'll explain it here so that someone else encountering the same thing can be helped. After overcoming this obstacle, I've run into another one.
First, the solution. I had encoded the mpeg at the maximum SVCD comliant bitrate, so when I tried to add subtitles, I-Author knew that there was no room to add more information and still keep it compliant. I reencoded the file at a slightly lower bitrate, tried again, and it succeeded in making the I-Author *.mps.
Now, the new problem. After creating the .cif disk image in I-Author, I tried to burn it with Easy CD Creator. It did about 90% of it, and then gave me an error that included the phrase "Data incomplete." A search of this forum showed me that Easy CD Creator 5 has this problem, but I have Easy CD Creator 4. Why does it give me this error? If I was to convert the .cif to bin/cue with CDMage, would I still have the subtitles that I muxed in with the video? I hope someone knows something more about this... I feel silly being the only one replying to my post

If you use CDMage to convert the cif to bin and cue then you will still have the subs. All it is doing is converting the format of the image so that it can be burned by different programs, the actual data in the disk image doesnt change.

There is a very good chance Ez cd creator is messing up. You should always use CDMage to convert to bin and cue in my opinion. If there is in fact ANY problem whatsoever with your image then CDMage will tell you.
