  1. I've backed up a DVD (Ice Age) without any problems, but now the disc has errors on it, and won't copy. Anyone know of a way of retrieving the data on the disc? I've exhausted all ideas........

    Cheers.

  2. @BobaJob, are you saying that the "copied" disk has errors on it? If so, just recopy with the original. If you can't "find" the original, then there is an option. Go to a best buy or radio shack and purchase a bottle of CD/DVD cleaner scratch repair solution. If you just use those cd wipes, that won't be good enough. I was skeptikal about those scratch repair kits myself until I bought one and have corrected at least seven or eight disks that would NOT rip fully initially, but ripped perfectly after I applied the solution. Let us know how it works out.

  3. Problem is, there's not a mark on the disc. I put the corruption down to the crappy Bulk Pac media - they really are rubbish. I really need a program like Blindwrite etc.

    Cheers.

  6. bobajob..there may NOT be a mark on the disk that is visible to you, but any little scratch might be detected by your DVD ROM. I would still try what I suggested.
