    I'm converting Divx to DVD and I want make a selectable subtitle into the DVD movie.
    the only way I can is using hte virtual dub and put them in the video screen...
    Is that possible make subtitles to put them in the *.ifo or *.vob or make a *.sup file???

    I'd be interested in this also, it seems no matter how much i look no one seems to know, the only programs i've seen mentioned to use are scenarist and maestro, but seem over complicated.

    All i wish to do is make backups of some of my japanese dvs but also add a removable subtitle stream, it must be possible without the need for expensive packages.

    That wont let me add a removable subtitle stream to a dvd mpeg2 will it?
