  1. First off, I've done about 6 full movies most have worked but around 1 or 2 have the exact same problem... When I encode I always use DIVX (I know not the best but oh well) and convert with TMPGEnc. I select NTSC, or NTSCfilm depening on the FPS that Virtual Dub gives me. But the Problem is that sometimes the movie will lock up for a second then start playing again but the audio doesn't match up. If I pause the disc then play again it matches up and keeps going. It only happens sometimes though. I convert using 2 VBR and check the bitrate with a bitrate calculator and everything, so I have no idea why it's not working correctly. Anyone have ANY help? I have all my computer and DVD player stats in the profile. Thanks.

    Kizne,
I've had the same problem when feeding a DIVX coded stream into TMPGenc. I use Huffyuv or PICVideo MJPEG @ 19 now for encoding without these problems.

    Perhaps it helps, regards,

    Kees Janssen.

  3. How do I use either of those to actually convert the AVI into an SVCD Mpeg? Any help would be appreciated.

you don't use them during converting from AVI to SVCD. They are used during capturing with virtualdub. It is the AVI that is coded with huffyuv or PICVideo. So instead of choosing DIVX choose Huffyuv or PICVideo.

    Kees Janssen.
