LCD or CRT monitors
Which tool seems to yield the better results when viewing your editing work during your video creations .![]()

I think that CRT monitors have better resolutions and color definition. LCDs tend to look more blurry to me.

Yea but there was just an article in PCWorld about how the new generation LCD's and a lot brighter and clearer. So I guess it depends how muhc money you want to put into it. If your gonna make a big investment: LCD... If your not gonna spend a lot of money go with the CRT

For picture clarity I don't think you can beat a good CRT monitor. The advantage of LCD are they take up much less space and they look a lot more flash.

i agree. i seen some lcds at the store playing sw:ep2. the image was horrible. it looked like a low bitrate divx file. and you couldn't even see the picture if you were standing a little to the side of the screen. sure they take up less space, but i prefer my big, clunky crt to a slim lcd with horrible picture.
