I am trying to create DVD files using DVD MovieFactory.
The input is M2V file (output from Tmpgenc).
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 8000 kbps)
Res: 720x480
The required disc space displayed on the final Burn Screen is 13.8GB.
But after encoding, the final file is only 4GB. It does contain the entire 2 hour video. (its good that it fits on the DVD-R, but the quality is not that good.
Question:
1) Is there a setting that is forcing it to 4GB?
2) The final video looks blurred even with a setting of "High Quality Setting". Anything I can do to fix the blurring problem?

You can only put 4 gig on a DVD-R, there is no way to put 13 gig on a DVD-R. For best quality, 1 hour of video per DVD-R is best, that is a CBR of 8Mb/sec. Normally, you can do 6Mb/sec and still get very good video.

I do realise that (u can only put 4GB on a DVD-R), but if the quality of the 13GB was any better, I was planning on splitting it onto multiple DVD-R's
